Cosy Winter at Something Different
Winter is on it’s way – Time to get cosy.
The evenings are drawing in and there is a distinct chill in the air on the morning dog walk. Stepping in through the front door to a sanctuary of warmth is a blessing in the winter time and I love to make my living space feel extra cosy in the brisk winter months.
This is the inspiration behind some of our autumn/winter collection – in the shop now.
We’re thrilled to have a beautiful selection of throws and textiles which are perfect for creating that cosy feel. Super bright prints, floral or more subdued designs there really is something to suit every taste.
We’re loving these gorgeous Carola Van Dyke cushions – as seen in October’s Home and Garden Magazine! The subtle colours and patchwork design look great all year round, but combined with a throw, or placed on a chair or sofa, these cushions will create an inviting and cosy environment. They’ve been very popular so far too!
Lanterns and candles will instantly add warmth to a room and the subtle lighting is perfect to relax and unwind. We love lanterns here and use them every evening at home, it’s a more pleasing natural light. There are so many styles of lantern to choose from. Why not use them in conjunction with our range of real wax LED flickering candles, they come with a timer and can be set to be glowing invitingly for when you come home in the evenings.
We hope you can come and visit us soon, the shop has had a move around and there’s some stunning new furniture on display too. We’ll make sure it’s a cosy and warm stop off on your way through Midhurst town.
