Spreading a little Christmas cheer..
There is nothing more wonderful, at this time of year, than that lovely sense of anticipation as Christmas approaches.
It’s easy, as adults, to lose the feeling of magic and become burdened by duty – something I imagine most women reading this will relate too (let’s be honest, we all know who REALLY makes Christmas happen!) And how can there be any denying that the December checklist is a thoroughly daunting prospect. But in getting the shop ‘dressed’ for Christmas, I have found it almost impossible not to be swept up in the warmth and seasonal loveliness of it all. Everything just looks – and smells – so divine from twinkling lights reflected in decorative baubles to candles flickering and exuding heady Christmassy scents that transport me to pine forests and mulberry.
I’m excited to show off how festive the shop feels with you all tomorrow night – Friday December 1st – at the annual Midhurst late night Christmas shopping and street party. Please pop in, have a glass of mulled wine, a mince pie and a browse. I can’t promise to solve all of your present buying dilemmas but I aim to try! And as you know with Something Different you can always be guaranteed to find just that. No more fretting over what to give a problematic uncle and definitely not a soap on a rope in sight! We will also be offering our signature complimentary gift-wrapping service and a friendly, festive welcome to all.
