CHRISTMAS POP-UP SALE | Wed 1st & Thurs 2nd November

Back in early summer I was having lunch with close friend, Juliet Pick, whom many of you will know is an incredibly talented interior designer responsible for transforming homes since 1996. I mentioned I had lots of lovely Christmas stock – in particular, festive decorations and an abundance of unusual gifts – and I was worried about how I was going to fit everything into the shop without it looking like an Aladdin’s Cave (which is never a bad thing, but it’s good to be able to move around!). Juliet’s response was to suggest an early Christmas sale in her barn in Oving – an exclusive opportunity for our regular customers to browse and shop in calm surroundings away from the hustle and bustle of Midhurst High Street, hopefully picking up a bargain or two along the way.

We’ve all heard that old adage: ‘Two minds work better than one.” Well, I like to think our festive pop-up sale is a tiny example of how collaboration can change the world. Okay, so we’re not quite the Wright Brothers or McCartney and Lennon but we’re both really proud of what we’ve achieved with this unique event.

Joining our seasonal sale next week is Midhurst’s Global Flowers and chocolatiers Noble and Stace both whom we know will complement and add a natural synchrony to proceedings. After all, bringing flowers, gifts and chocolate together has got to be a no brainer really. And we’ll even throw in refreshments and evening bubbly and nibbles for everyone who comes along.

Sometimes mutual passion can spark inspiration and make things happen. We really look forward to seeing you next week and hope you’ll agree!
